Stone Tavern Farm Home of a summer horse camp for youngsters, Stone Tavern offers trail rides, ATV rides, overnight camping for every "comfort" level, and star-gazing events. You can stay in the "stone tavern" farmhouse bed and breakfast, take a riding lesson, or try to "angle" a trout in the well-stocked pond. A beautiful site for a country wedding, Stone Tavern is the former site of one of Delaware County's oldest dairy farms.

Shephard Hills Golf Course: Beautiful and historic 9 holes built in 1919 as the private course for Finley Shepard and his duffer buddies also offers wooded trails for hiking. Finley was the husband of railroad baron Jay Gould's daughter Helen, who loved Roxbury and first created Kirkside Park. Shephard Hills' restaurant is open seasonally.

Heart of the Catskills Humane Society Have a heart, adopt your next pet! You'll find this shelter always has wonderful, family-friendly dogs and cats longing for a "forever" home. The staff, led by Deb Crute, is incredibly hard-working and dedicated to their charges. Visit them in Delhi (right behind the Delaware County Historical Assn. on County Highway 10 in Delhi) and you can combine a furry friend and history in one trip!.

Manhattan Country School This unique school in the heart of Manhattan, dedicated to diversity and sustainability, brings its multicultural students to a farm in Roxbury to experience the lessons of farm life firsthand, as part of their curriculum: milking a cow, cooking meals for their class, work with fabrics and weaving, taking nature walks to learn about wildlife and the Catskills environment. Students also correspond with local Roxbury students and meet their pen pals in fourth grade.
